Job Summary
The course Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study in the Arts is offered in person for Fall 2026 by the Faculté des arts at the University of Ottawa. It requires teaching or assistant-teaching university-level courses in Interdisciplinary Studies, plus research or teaching experience in interdisciplinary epistemology theory and method. Preference will be given to an instructor whose research crosses disciplines and emphasizes interdisciplinarity. The course explores at least two disciplines within the Arts, aims to illuminate contemporary debates, and develops critical reading and academic writing. The course meets Thursdays 19:00-22:00 and is scheduled for 3 credits; it is a part-time regular position with an in-person delivery at the Ottawa/Main Campus.
