Job Summary
APT/ARP Instructor role focused on delivering instruction and mentoring to children/youth in APT/ARP Programs, including curriculum preparation/update, goal-planning documentation, progress assessments, and transportation to/from program. Responsibilities span peer, instructor, and senior instructor duties such as curriculum updates, individualized goal plans, participant progress documentation, assessments, meetings with families/service providers, regular staff meetings, and transporting participants. Senior role adds leadership and program oversight duties. Requires driving license and a mix of educational backgrounds with relevant instructional experience; travel and on-site work with some travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 to 28 years old for Peer Instructor with self-identified as consumer of mental health, prevention, special education, or related services
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred with one to two years of related experience; or Associates degree with two or more years of instructional experience; or high school diploma with at least three years significant experience in area of instruction. Driver’s license is required.
- Master’s degree in education or related field preferred with two years of related experience; or Bachelor's or Associate degree with at least three to four years of significant instructional experience. Driver’s license is required.
