Job Summary
APS Manager leads the Autoliv Production System (APS) Lean-driven Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence strategy to deliver sustainable cost savings, increase productivity, and structurally improve operating margins. Responsibilities include identifying structural cost reduction opportunities, driving governance and portfolio management, promoting a high-performance Lean culture, delivering training and certifications, optimizing cost structures through layout and line balance improvements, enabling automation with strong ROI, and driving gains in cost per unit, OEE, inventory, and working capital. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering or related field, 8+ years of Lean implementation experience across automotive/manufacturing sites, strong shop-floor exposure, Lean tools (line balancing, takt time, time sequences, bottlenecks, JIT, VSM, TPM basics), advanced English, and Lean Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience implementing Lean across multiple sites within automotive or manufacturing environment
- Strong shop floor exposure
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing: line balancing, takt time, time sequences, bottle neck, LMPU, JIT principles, quality tools, TPM basics, VSM
- Visual Fabric
- Advance English proficiency required
- Lean Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
