Job Summary
Material Coordinator in the Local Purchase team supporting the Army APS-3 program. Responsibilities include reviewing parts/service requests, researching parts and services to prepare quotes, issuing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, updating databases, tracking status, and ensuring documentation aligns with CostPoint/Deltek workflows. Requires interaction with maintenance shops, ability to handle significant paperwork, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and related systems. Prior experience in purchasing/logistics (2-4 years) and a high school diploma are required, with CAC and background checks required for base access. Equipment support includes both military and commercial assets (e.g., HMMWVs, trailers, forklifts, generators), and occasional off-site parts pickup may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC
- Experience with purchasing and logistics; familiarity with CostPoint, Deltek, MS Office; familiarity with Army class of supply system and National Stock numbers (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass background check to obtain and maintain local base access
- Must possess a valid Real ID State Driver’s License
