Job Summary
APRN or PA-C cardiology role providing specialty and preventive cardiac care to adults, in collaboration with an attending physician. Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, performing physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing and managing medications, adhering to productivity standards, documenting care in the medical record, and performing/interpreting stress tests and management of cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, Loop recorders). The role encompasses both acute care admissions/discharges and office-based care across Concord Hospital Medical Group locations in NH.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing for NPs or completion of accredited PA Certification Program for PAs
- ACLS certification
- New Hampshire APRN license or PA license
- DEA license for both APRN and PA
- 1+ year cardiology provider experience
- ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license and DEA
- ability to perform and interpret stress tests; manage cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders)
- certification, registration & licensure requirements as applicable
