Job Summary
Conduct primary medical care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for clinic patients, while developing comprehensive plans of care that integrate history, physical exams, and diagnostic imaging. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to manage patient health promotion, disease prevention, and quality outcomes within a Patient Centered Medical Home model. Prescribe medications, administer IV fluids, and provide emergency care within scope, while maintaining accurate electronic records and adhering to infection control protocols. Participate in daily team huddles, medical staff meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to support MHSI's goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program recognized by the State of Arkansas
- Arkansas license
- Current certification to practice in Arkansas
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Prescriptive authority from state board
- Active DEA registration
- Sufficient experience to carry out the duties of this position
- Ability to learn and utilize electronic record keeping systems such as electronic medical record
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Willingness to attend and/or complete continuing education related to this position and/or any other topics as deemed necessary to MHSI
- Completion of continual job training processes set forth by Mainline Health Systems, Inc.
- Observance of all safety/infection control policies and procedures
- Attendance at safety/infection control committee training as required
- Ability and willingness to travel to any MHSI clinic location upon request to provide services and ensure MHSI patient's access to care

- Computer skills with capabilities to utilize Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and Word documents
