Job Summary
APRN Hospitalist provides advanced inpatient care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, coordinates admissions, daily care, and discharges, and educates patients and families while ensuring accurate documentation and performing certain bedside procedures. Requires current Nurse Practitioner licensure (AGNP, FNP, or ANP), national board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA), and DEA/CSP.
