Job Summary
Senior Apps Development Manager/VP leads one or more Applications Development teams in Citi, providing technical oversight across systems and applications, driving delivery of development initiatives, and participating in budget management and people management. Responsibilities include evaluating proposed technical solutions, formulating strategies for applications development, ensuring compliance with laws and internal controls, supervising staff, and coordinating with Technology teams to achieve business goals. Required skills include Python and AI tool experience, stakeholder management, project and risk management, strong leadership and communication abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with extensive financial services experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Experience as Applications Development Manager
- Experience working with Python & AI tools such as Devin
- Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role
- Stakeholder and people management experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven project management skills
- Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
