Job Summary
Senior Apps Development Tech Lead/Analyst role focused on leading application systems analysis and programming activities within Citi’s Strategic Global Regulatory Reporting Platform (INSIGHT). Responsibilities include partnering with management to define system enhancements, guiding design and implementation in alignment with architecture blueprints, and advising mid-level developers. Requires deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot/SQL/real-time messaging, microservices, modern JS frameworks (e.g., Angular), and data processing tools (Spark/Hive/Impala). The role emphasizes risk-aware decision making, governance, and strong communication to drive product and process improvements while leading a development scrum team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of hands-on software development experience
- Advanced knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Real Time Messaging
- Software architecture and tradeoff analysis skills
- Knowledge of Angular or another modern JS framework
- Spark, Hive, Impala is a plus
- Experience with micro services architecture
- Demonstrated leadership, people management skills
- Understanding Finance and regulatory business will be plus
- Master’s degree preferred
