Job Summary
Conduct applications systems analysis and programming activities by identifying system enhancements, analyzing code, and recommending programming solutions. Consult with users and technology groups to install and support customer exposure systems while performing testing, debugging, and vulnerability assessments. Serve as an advisor to new analysts and senior stakeholders, exercising independent judgment to resolve issues and implement solutions with limited direct supervision. Assess risks and drive compliance with laws, rules, and regulations to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Python
- Experience with SQL fundamentals
- Experience with scripting fundamentals
- Experience with GitHub
- Experience with Bitbucket
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or equivalent experience
