Job Summary
Servicing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing handheld and fixed scientific instruments while traveling to customer sites to install, commission, inspect, and repair gas detection and environmental monitoring equipment. Manage customer relationships by providing equipment and application support, offering technical solutions, and showcasing communication skills to colleagues. Conduct service repairs and maintenance on occupational health, safety, and environmental monitoring equipment with comprehensive training provided. This full-time role in Mackay includes competitive compensation, a company bonus scheme, and opportunities for career advancement within the organization. Candidates must be willing to embrace practical training, pass a medical examination, and undergo routine drug and alcohol testing on customer sites. Required Qualifications
- Willingness to embrace practical training and development opportunities and implement learnings
- Ability to quickly grasp technical information and a desire to continually expand your knowledge
- Friendly, proactive, and professional personality with excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Enthusiasm for speaking with customers, building relationships, and providing value to customer solutions
- Ability to pass a medical examination and routine drug and alcohol testing on customer sites
- Full COVID-19 vaccination

Desired Qualifications
- A desire to gain TAFE qualifications in instrumentation would be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and customer relationship management skills are preferred
