Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical aspects of Sandvik equipment and components within established time constraints. Inspect equipment for performance faults, adjust systems, and replace defective parts while identifying additional repairs and compiling labor estimates. Test repaired units for operational performance, complete accurate time records and technical reports, and submit drawing revisions. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, stay current with industry best practices, and comply with safety policies by reporting unsafe habits and incidents. Maintain hand tools and ensure orderly work areas.
Required Qualifications
- Technical (Mechanical) diploma
- Ability to read/comprehend related schematics
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience
- Previous experience with Sandvik equipment
- Automotive, truck & coach or heavy-duty equipment experience
- Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
- Ability to develop knowledge of customer business processes in relation to product rebuilds
- Time management and organizational skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook)
