Apprentice Technician / Wake Tech

Apprentice Technician position focusing on learning through Wake Tech classes and hands-on training to perform routine mechanical repairs on construction equipment. Responsibilities include safety practices, completing service documentation, using Caterpillar diagnostic information, basic troubleshooting, disassembly/reassembly of parts, operating hand and power tools, lifting and positioning heavy parts, and supporting senior technicians with larger repairs. The program comprises three semesters with two days of school and three days of work-based learning; education level required is high school diploma or GED. Equal opportunity employer.
