Job Summary
Inspect premises to identify infestation sources and damage, then spray or dust chemical solutions into rooms, furnishings, and outdoor areas. Set mechanical traps, place bait, measure treatment zones, and calculate fumigant requirements while posting warning signs and securing buildings. Drive vehicles with power spraying gear, clean blockages, and remove debris after completing extermination tasks. Complete daily work orders, record activities, and finish a 30-hour certification course within six months of hire. Available for emergency and after-hours work in all weather conditions. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (NY, NJ, CT, or PA)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Availability for emergency and after-hours work
- Ability to successfully complete a thirty (30) hour pest control certification course within six (6) months of hire
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to routinely exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to perform regular walking or standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop or bend
- Ability to handle and work with various materials and objects
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in extermination or pest control application
- Working knowledge of extermination equipment, tools, and materials
