Job Summary
Maintain and repair cranes by troubleshooting, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists at customer locations. Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating parts and generate OSHA-compliant inspection reports and repair orders. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely while communicating with management to schedule daily work. Work in a safety-first environment involving labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs daily and climbing heights over 50 feet. Provide after-hour and weekend services as required on-call, accommodating various shifts and occasional travel of 20-50%.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must always commit to working and driving safely
- Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop/crouch, reach overhead, bend, squat, stand, and sit for prolonged periods
- Must be willing to travel 20-50% of the time
- Must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers
- Must be willing to work on-call and overtime
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical training certificate
- Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools
