Job Summary
In an entry-level capacity, the Apprentice Technician assists with identifying necessary vehicle services and performing repair, maintenance, and service work under the guidance of a Master/Service Technician. Responsibilities include examining customer vehicles, estimating repair costs, and documenting services performed. The role requires basic knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical skills, and eligibility for training programs. Essential skills include effective communication, the ability to work safely, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, fostering the company’s core values and participating in ongoing training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge
- Technical training or commensurate technical experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Eligible for NAPA training, manufacturer training, state inspection/emissions training, if applicable
