Job Summary
Maintain and repair cranes by troubleshooting, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists at customer locations while performing routine maintenance like lubrication. Conduct OSHA-required inspections, generate reports, and operate tools and vehicles safely. Communicate daily with management to schedule work and participate in required trainings and the 5 Marks program. Work in a safety-first environment with physical demands including lifting up to 100lbs, climbing heights over 50 feet, and traveling 20-50% of the time. Provide after-hour and weekend services as needed on an on-call basis.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must always commit to working and driving safely
- Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop/crouch, reach overhead, bend, squat, stand, and sit for prolonged periods
- Must be able to push, pull, kneel, and crawl
- Must have great hand and eye coordination
- Must be willing to travel 20-50% of the time
- Must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers
- Must be willing to work on-call and overtime
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical training certificate
- Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools
