Job Summary
Maintain and repair industrial cranes and hoists in the field, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and generating OSHA-compliant inspection reports. Operate tools and vehicles safely while communicating daily with managers to schedule work completion. Provide after-hours, weekend, and on-call services as required by customer needs, working various shifts including overtime and potential out-of-town travel. The role demands labor-intensive physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs daily and frequent climbing at heights exceeding 50 feet, with exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and heights.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must always commit to working and driving safely
- Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop/crouch, reach overhead, bend, squat, stand, and sit for prolonged periods
- Must be willing to travel 20-50% of the time
- Must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers
- Must be willing to work on-call and overtime
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical training certificate
- Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools
