Job Summary
Apprentice Teacher position involves observing and learning from Master Teachers, co-teaching with teacher-leaders, providing substitute teaching coverage, tutoring and supporting student instruction, and potentially teaching a class or small groups. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction over the year, developing teaching skills to become a full-time teacher, assisting with assessments and grading, coordinating enrichment activities, mentoring students, meeting with an instructional coach, participating in curriculum development, and supporting classroom management and student behavior.
