Job Summary
Apprentice Teachers will observe and learn from Master Teachers, co-teach with teacher-leaders, provide in-house substitute teaching coverage, tutor students, and support teachers with grading and small-group instruction. They may also teach a class or small groups, participate in enrichment activities, and collaborate with coaches to develop instructional skills toward becoming full-time teachers, while engaging in ongoing professional development and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience in schools and/or urban communities is preferred but not required
