Job Summary
Apprentice roles across Software Development, Testing & Quality Engineering, Database Administration, and Power BI/Data & Reporting at S&P Global Market Intelligence. The roles involve learning and applying software development practices, designing and validating software, writing code, executing manual and automated tests, performing SQL data queries, building dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (2026 batch), zero prior full-time work experience, and exposure to internships, projects, or apprenticeships may be considered. Strong communication, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) are emphasized, with preferred knowledge in object-oriented programming, databases, REST APIs, Git, and web technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate, preferably from the 2026 batch
- Must have zero prior full-time work experience
- Internship, academic project, or apprenticeship exposure may be considered, provided it was not full-time employment
- Must not have an existing Provident Fund account
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Strong academic record with a passion for software development (or quality assurance, database administration, or data analytics for respective roles)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in the country of application
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, Angular, C#, .NET, React), databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), Git, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, cloud tech (AWS, Azure)
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and debugging skills
- Interest in AI-assisted development, automation, and testing (for QA/SDET)
- Experience or exposure to cloud platforms and REST API concepts (for BI/Power BI role)
