Job Summary
Assist licensed plumbers with day-to-day installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain lines, and fixtures. Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials while using hand and power tools safely. Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and job materials, ensuring clean and safe work areas. Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable plumbing codes while communicating professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers. Gain hands-on experience developing skills in piping, fixtures, and troubleshooting to progress toward becoming a licensed plumber.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of plumbing experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, tools, and materials
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new plumbing skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team
- Dependable and professional approach to work
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties of plumbing work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to reliably commute to job sites throughout the Waco area
Desired Qualifications
- Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration preferred, or willingness to obtain it
