Job Summary
Assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work, including installing water supply lines, drain lines, faucets, toilets, and fixtures. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems to determine appropriate repairs while measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing piping and materials. Safely use hand and power tools, load and maintain job materials, and keep sites clean and safe. Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable plumbing codes while communicating professionally with customers and supervisors. Gain hands-on training in residential and commercial systems to advance toward becoming a licensed plumber. Full-time employment with competitive pay of $20-$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Ability to perform physically demanding plumbing work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to reliably commute to job sites throughout the Austin area
Desired Qualifications
- Current Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration
- Willingness to obtain Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration
- Valid driver's license
