Job Summary
Support the production team by delivering mechanical systems for modular water treatment and lithium production plants using CPVC and PVC piping. Read construction drawings and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) while maintaining strong housekeeping standards in a clean, indoor environment. Perform plumbing and pipefitting tasks including mechanical mounting of components like pumps with precise alignment, utilizing provided hand and power tools. Regular hours run Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime and occasional travel to customer sites. This role is ideal for 1st to 3rd year apprentices seeking hands-on experience under supervision from a Senior Mechanical Production Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as a 1st to 3rd year Plumbing or Pipefitting Apprentice
- Experience working with CPVC and PVC piping
- Experience with mechanical mounting of components such as pumps, including precise alignment
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent housekeeping skills and safe work practices
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Must be able to travel to customer sites
- Must be available for overtime
