Job Summary
Assist licensed plumbers with residential repairs, installations, and new construction plumbing in central Arkansas. Diagnose, service, and install pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heating equipment, and drainage systems while adhering to relevant codes and manufacturer specifications. Participate in weekly evening training classes and complete assigned homework to develop technical skills over a four-year program. Maintain company vehicles, wear approved apparel, and uphold safety policies and codes of ethics. Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and access confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- 1-2 years plumbing or other trade experience
- Desire to learn, ability to follow detailed instructions
- Problem solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, accessing small and confining spaces of attics, crawlspaces, mechanical areas that require crawling and climbing
- Apprentice License
Desired Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- Prior experience in new construction plumbing, residential service plumbing, or drain cleaning
