Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and support vehicles while assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, engine, and mechanical systems. Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently to support unscheduled repairs that minimize equipment downtime. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices while collaborating with supervisors, operators, and fellow technicians. This Registered 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice role includes competitive hourly wages ranging from $36 to $46, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive apprenticeship support and training.
Required Qualifications
- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documentation
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Class 1 or 3 Driver's Licence
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Nitrogen pumping units
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Nitrogen conversion units
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Coiled tubing support equipment
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Pressure pumping equipment
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Oilfield service rigs and rig support equipment
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing: Heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and ancillary oilfield equipment
