Job Summary
Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks for IAIA facilities, vehicles, and equipment under Facilities Manager direction. Complete assigned work-orders including HVAC filter replacement, minor carpentry, electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, and snow removal. Assist with furniture assembly, vehicle upkeep, campus grounds maintenance, and meeting set-ups. Execute assigned errands such as supply purchases and deliveries. Requires a high school diploma, valid NM driver's license, clean driving record, and acceptable background check. Tasks involve outdoor work in varied climates, interior environments with dust, and physical demands including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current and valid NM drivers' license
- Clean driving record
- Acceptable background check results
- Ability to adhere to appropriate standards of conduct and ethics, including confidentiality, integrity and honesty
- Ability to follow directions and to adapt to changing work environments
- Ability to work respectfully with others; participate in pro-active problem solving
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, complete jobs as assigned in a timely manner
- Ability to practice safe and responsible work habits to ensure own and others safety
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend and/or crawl
- Ability to move and/or maneuver items weighing up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively and safely use a wide-range of maintenance tools
- Ability to climb ladders to complete tasks, which may include climbing to the roofs of buildings
- Ability to complete all the physical dimensions and demands of the position
