Job Summary
Apprentice – Ecology on AtkinsRéalis’ Environment team working on UK ecology and environmental planning projects. Responsibilities include supporting ecological desk studies and data analysis, assisting with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning documents, GIS mapping and spatial analysis using ArcGIS/QGIS, data management and quality assurance, and collaborative work with UK ecologists, planners, and specialists to deliver project deliverables. Requires MSc in a relevant life science or environmental discipline, GIS experience, and strong English communication; hybrid work culture with India-based office involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (M.Sc) in a relevant life science or environmental discipline
- GIS proficiency with ArcGIS or QGIS
- Strong English communication skills
- UK ecology awareness or willingness to learn
- Data analysis experience (R/Python) preferred
