Job Summary
Complete the SVEC LAP Apprenticeship program while operating office machines and equipment as assigned. Handle high-stress situations and perform occasional heavy lifting up to 25 lbs. Travel across the Bledsoe County service area, including rare trips outside the region and to conferences or training. Work occasional after-hours shifts for planned events, storms, or emergencies. Requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License, high school diploma, and willingness to relocate to the service area. Full-time position reporting to the Pikeville, TN office.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to SVEC's Bledsoe County service area
- Must be willing to successfully complete the SVEC LAP Apprenticeship
- Minimum high school diploma
- Required Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be able to handle high-stress situations
- Must live in the Bledsoe County service area or be willing to relocate to the service area
- Requires occasional travel across SVEC area, rare travel outside SVEC area
- Some after-hours work is required due to occasional planned events, storm-related events, or emergency events
- Occasional heavy lifting up to 25 lbs
