Job Summary
Shadow qualified engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of lifts across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Attend distance learning courses, complete coursework, and participate in at least 20% off-the-job training while demonstrating the aptitude of a future Lift Engineer. Complete a 40-month apprenticeship with a mix of practical mentoring and structured learning at the training centre to achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering. Work Monday to Thursday from 08.00 to 16.45 and Friday from 08.00 to 15.45. Earn a starting salary of £17,678 with regular performance reviews, a profit share bonus, and access to Simply Health, 25 days holiday, and a matched pension scheme.
Required Qualifications
- Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in Maths
- Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in English
- Have a keen interest in engineering
- Have practical experience working in a related role
- Have a valid driving licence or be working towards one
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
