Apprentice / Journeyperson Pipefitters

Job Summary
Install, assemble, and maintain industrial piping systems per drawings and specifications. Perform fit-up, alignment, and installation of piping, valves, flanges, and supports. Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation. Support bolt-up, torquing and testing; execute rigging and hoisting support for pipe installation. Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including permit systems and lockout/tagout. Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities. Start date mid July 2026 for a major expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Requires Journeyperson Pipefitter or Apprentice status with provincial certification; strong teamwork and commitment to safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Apprentice Pipefitters must be registered with a provincial training authority
- Previous industrial construction experience preferred
- Strong team player with willingness to support where required
- Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid government ID
