Job Summary
Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworkers are sought to erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings on a major industrial expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Responsibilities include bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly, rigging and signaling for crane lifts, interpreting blueprints and lift plans, completing FLHAs and following all site safety procedures, operating and inspecting tools and rigging equipment, supporting material handling and crew activities, and meeting project deadlines with Ledcor’s safety and quality standards. Start mid July 2026 with work schedule of 10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off; location Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority
- Fall Protection Certification
- Valid government ID
- Complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work from heights
- Completion of project online orientations
