Apprentice Instrumentation Technician

Job Summary
Conduct construction and maintenance instrumentation work while supporting apprenticeship program completion and required hours. Operate independently and within a team, utilizing initiative and valid safety tickets including CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive. Maintain reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication skills while demonstrating safe work practices and operating a valid Class 5 driver's license. Work various shift schedules of 8 to 12 hours daily with occasional overtime opportunities. Relocate to Grande Prairie, AB if necessary, as travel expenses are not covered.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess construction and maintenance instrumentation experience
- Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team
- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work)
- Excellent communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to work safely
- Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
