Apprentice Instrumentation Technician (Day Shift)

Job Summary
Apprentice Instrumentation Technician will install, support, and test tubing; fabricate and install tubing raceway; mount and install instruments; design skid layout using P&ID's and GA's; work closely with other trades to optimize unit design; perform pneumatic testing of tubing to ensure quality; diagnose and repair faults in instrumentation tubing; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to safety protocols; participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and ongoing training to stay current with technologies and best practices in instrumentation; emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Instrumentation Technician Apprentice 3rd year or greater.
- Must be able to bend and support tubing
- 2 years of industrial instrument construction/manufacturing experience.
- Fabrication Shop experience and asset
- Well organized, excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment.
- Applicable tooling required
- Required to pass a functional, alcohol, and drug test prior to onboarding
