Job Summary
Interpret technical drawings and measurements for aluminium projects, then cut and fabricate custom frames using precision tools. Install aluminium components with attention to detail on commercial and residential sites while adhering to strict WH&S practices. Read plans accurately, communicate effectively with supervisors and clients, and travel between various project locations using your own reliable transport. Commit to a four-year apprenticeship program to earn a Certificate III in Glass & Glazing while gaining hands-on industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Commitment to Your Apprenticeship - We need someone dedicated to learning and growing within the glass and aluminium industry, willing to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship program.
- Safety First - Strong knowledge of WH&S practices and a commitment to following safety standards on the job.
- Good Communication Skills - Ability to work well with your team and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
- Driver's License - A current driver's license to travel between various work sites is essential.
- Reliable Transportation - Own transport to get to different project locations is essential.
