Job Summary
Apprentice Facilities Specialist supports a regional set of Chipotle locations by performing Preventative Maintenance Site Audits and reactionary service calls to uphold World Class Food Safety and excellent guest experience. Responsibilities include completing four PM Site Audits per location annually, handling reactionary work cost-effectively, collaborating with vendors and leadership to meet Chipotle standards, managing direct maintenance and repair budgets for assigned sites, coordinating capital improvement needs, obtaining quotes, tracking parts and inventory, managing Service Channel requests, and meeting administrative deadlines. Requirements include a High school diploma or GED (Trade School Certificate preferred), EPA Certification preferred, 0-1 years in related field and 1+ year in the restaurant industry, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ability to lift 50 pounds, willingness to travel overnight, independence in daily work, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Trade School Certificate preferred
- EPA Certification preferred
- 0-1 years’ experience in related field
- 1+ year(s) of experience in the restaurant industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to use ladders on a frequent basis
- Overnight travel may be required
- Must be able to work independently for much of the day
- Must be able to plan and organize schedules and stick to the plan
- Must be able to effectively communicate through email and or phone conversations
