Job Summary
Conduct general building maintenance, custodial duties, and minor repairs including painting, hardware replacement, and fixture cleaning. Execute general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, moving materials, and organizing vacancy spaces. Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer service requests while maintaining a neat appearance and complying with safety training and dress codes. Perform snow removal, leaf sweeping, and landscaping of common areas. Utilize technology including smart phones, tablets, and building automation systems. Work in varying weather conditions with physical demands requiring lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping. Shift work and on-call duties may be required for priority or emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Participation in apprentice program or trade school
- Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics
- Must be able to use technology such as; smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of related experience in a commercial property setting preferred
