Job Summary
Apprentice Electrician works with licensed electricians on commercial electrical projects and assists with conduit bending, wire pulling, fixture installation, and commercial electrical rough-ins; supports installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems; ensures organized, safe, productive jobsites and adherence to NEC standards; participates in hands-on training and advancement opportunities within a team-focused, family-style culture; overtime hours are common and a company vehicle/gas benefits may be available for certain roles.
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of commercial electrical or related trade experience preferred
- Basic understanding of commercial electrical systems, wiring methods, and jobsite safety
- Familiarity with NEC guidelines and electrical safety practices
- Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work overtime as needed, with current schedules averaging 50-55+ hours per week
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and perform physical job duties
- Experience using basic electrical tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic with a self-motivated, team-first mentality
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
