Job Summary
Apprentice Electrician will work alongside licensed electricians on residential projects in Houston, assisting with diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, wiring, outlets, breakers, panels, and lighting; support installation of new components and system upgrades; learn to troubleshoot safely and code-compliantly; document work with company iPad and service software; adhere to NEC standards and local codes; develop customer-service skills through professional communication; collaborate with team to complete jobs efficiently; pursue ongoing education toward Journeyman licensing and growth within the electrical division.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Apprentice Electrician license
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the electrical trade or related hands-on field
- Basic understanding of residential electrical systems and wiring
- Familiarity with NEC guidelines and electrical safety practices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds and perform physical job duties
- Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
- Experience with basic electrical tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus but not required
