Job Summary
Conduct construction and maintenance electrical work while supporting apprenticeship programs and completing required hours. Operate independently or within a team, utilizing valid safety tickets including CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive. Maintain reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication skills while demonstrating the ability to work safely in the Valleyview, AB area. Possess construction and maintenance electrical experience, be an indentured electrical apprentice or certified journeyperson, and hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience
- Must be an indentured electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team
- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work)
- Excellent communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to work safely
- Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
- A valid Class 5 driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
