Job Summary
Apprentice Electrician reports to the lead technician; assists with install, troubleshoot, and repair/replace wiring, outlets, fixtures, and panels in customers’ homes or businesses. Educates customers on system use and maintenance, provides insights for optimizing function, and documents outcomes of work orders. Uses electrical hand-tools and testing equipment; emphasizes safe working conditions and communicates effectively. Requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED; some knowledge of electrical code and safety practices; ability to learn in classroom and hands-on settings; licenses or ability to obtain per state/local requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record
