Job Summary

Perform routine maintenance on heavy-duty trucks including lubrication, filter changes, and belt/hose replacements. Assist with engine, brake, and drivetrain repairs while supporting basic electrical work on batteries, lights, and alternators. Inspect vehicles to report findings to senior technicians and aid in diagnostics and troubleshooting. Follow shop procedures and safety standards while maintaining a clean work area and documenting all tasks accurately. This hands-on role provides OEM training to develop skills for a Diesel Technician position within 1–2 years.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of mechanical experience or trade/technical school training
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Must be able to work with heavy equipment and mechanical systems
