Job Summary
Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to learn maintenance and repair of diesel bus engines under supervision. Assist senior mechanics with maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related components; perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buses; learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work; maintain a clean and organized workspace; adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Requires completion of Year 12 or equivalent, basic knowledge of diesel engines, strong desire to learn, good communication and teamwork, ability to follow instructions, and valid driver's license. Full-time opportunity with hands-on training, mentorship from experienced mechanics, and a well-equipped workshop.
