Job Summary
Apprentice – Culinary (Kitchen Trainee) at Accor's Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. Focus on Food Preparation & Cooking under supervision, assist chefs with basic prep, mise-en-place for hot/cold sections, plate dishes to standards, maintain cleanliness, stock/receiving, and support buffet/live counters during peak hours. Learn techniques from senior chefs, shadow kitchen staff, and develop skills across multiple kitchen sections. Learning programs and development opportunities provided; basic knowledge of food preparation and eagerness to learn emphasized. Hotel Management student or Diploma holder with prior kitchen internship favored but not mandatory; emphasis on hygiene, safety (HACCP), PPE usage, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel Management student / recent graduate or Diploma holder
- Prior kitchen internship is an advantage but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of food preparation
- Eagerness to learn and positive attitude
