Job Summary
Apprentice Carpenter responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings, including laying foundations, cement work, formwork, assembling and fastening materials for framework, and performing renovations. Requires current apprenticeship in carpentry, two+ years experience, safety knowledge, CSTS training, and ability to work long hours including Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Currently indentured into an Apprenticeship Program, Carpenter
- Currently working in the trade
- Two or more years of experience as a carpenter
- Motivated, Hardworking, able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed
- Knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do material and labour estimates
- CSTS training is a prerequisite for employment. If you do not have this training, it can be made available.
