Job Summary
Apprentice Cake Decorator responsibilities include learning cake decorating techniques, preparing and decorating bakery products for the display cases, handling special orders, and providing exemplary guest service. The role emphasizes product knowledge, seasonal items, portion control, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. You’ll apply merchandising principles to generate sales, rotate stock, and assist customers with suggestions while supporting the Bakery Team and other areas as needed. Focus areas include decorating products for Bakery cases, following code dating procedures to ensure freshness, and contributing to a positive team environment that helps others grow and learn in leadership-focused opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
- Age: 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- No High School diploma required
