Job Summary
Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects throughout St Pete and nearby areas. Travel to job sites using your own vehicle or company truck, performing tasks in carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, light plumbing, and electrical work. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with diverse clients and staff, and follow directions to ensure project success. Work on a flexible full-time or part-time basis out of your home, with some company vehicle use potentially required. A good driving record and valid license are mandatory, along with a successful prior work track record and ownership of standard tools.
Required Qualifications
- Skills across multiple trades
- Strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Good overall knowledge of all trades—from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of different types of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel
- Successful prior work track record
- Ability to follow directions
- Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
- Own truck, van or SUV
- Current and valid driver's license
- Residence within 15 miles of the city of St Petersburg
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
