Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to assess structural, mechanical, and electrical damage, then estimate labor and parts costs for repairs or replacements. Review repair estimates with body shop managers, negotiate cost-effective solutions, and determine feasibility of repair versus total vehicle loss payment. Complete detailed inspection reports and insurance forms in accordance with industry standards while providing technical support to claim handlers. Answer inbound and outbound customer calls, manage inspection scheduling priorities, and maintain accurate records. Requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, a valid driver's license, and six months of claims experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 months of claims handling or intake experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A valid Driver's License
