Job Summary
Senior Applied Value Engineer responsible for guiding pre-sales and post-sales engagements with strategic energy, manufacturing, and automotive customers. You will translate customer requirements into innovative, ROI-driven solutions using Celonis Process Intelligence (PI) platform in collaboration with AI/ML partners, prototype and demonstrate value to executives, and ensure adoption and value realization across the customer lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery and capability demonstrations during the pre-sales cycle, driving end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, delivering secure, scalable LLM/agent-based implementations with RAG and toolchains, and shaping ROI/TCO business cases for large-scale AI deployments. Domain expertise in Energy and/or Manufacturing, proficiency in Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch), and the ability to present solutions to C-level stakeholders are required. The role is based in New York with a hybrid work model and offers a base salary in the range of $140k–$160k plus bonus/commission and equity.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience leading end-to-end technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements specifically within manufacturing and production, including defining AI roadmaps, ROI/TCO business cases, and guiding implementations to value realization
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Solid knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) and data engineering tools for large-scale industrial data
- Strong presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Experience in building and delivering end-to-end solutions involving AI, PI platforms, and enterprise data integration
- Experience communicating domain knowledge in Energy and/or Manufacturing (Asset Management, Field Services, Supply Chain, Capital Projects or Trading)
