Job Summary
Value Engineer at Celonis spearheads the end-to-end value journey for strategic enterprise customers, collaborating with Sales to understand objectives from modernization to finance process optimization. Responsibilities include leading pre- and post-sales discovery and capability demonstrations, guiding implementation to ensure adopted value and ROI thresholds, framing insights to accelerate customer autonomy with improved cadences and executive sponsorship through QBRs and strategic roadmaps, and serving as the domain expert to translate customer requirements into innovative Celonis-based solutions. You’ll work with AI/LLM-enabled pathways, deploying intelligent, autonomous agents to address complex bottlenecks, and manage cross-functional alignment and repeatable value-tracking frameworks. Requirements include 7+ years in related functions, strong technical skills across cloud platforms and data tooling, experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. The role offers a base salary range of $161,250–$191,250 in California, along with a comprehensive compensation package and a flexible hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, and/or consulting functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong technical skills across Microsoft or competitor equivalents (e.g., AWS) with certifications in relevant technologies (Azure, Data Engineering)
- Knowledge of Data Connections, Data Objects, Data Validation and Data Analysis
- Knowledge and use of LLMs across Microsoft or competitor equivalents (e.g., Claude, Copilot)
- Understanding of prompting and data constructs within a prompt
- Ability to plan and manage project scope, timelines, and multiple accounts
- Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
